    A new Sibelius-SACD by Lahti SO and Vänskä has been released

    The Lahti Symphony Orchestra’s new multi-channel Super Audio recording (BIS-SACD-1645) containing popular works by Jean Sibelius has been released. In the recording – conducted by the former Chief Conductor of the orchestra, Osmo Vänskä – can be heard e.g. the works Karelia Suite, The Wood-Nymph (cello solo: Ilkka Pälli), The Swan of Tuonela (cor anglais solo: Jukka Hirvikangas), Valse triste and Finlandia. The Super Audio recording (5.0 surround) can be listened with a stereo equipment as well.
