The Red Nose Company, the clown troupe that wowed audiences at last year’s May Day matinee, is returning to Lahti! ‘The Musical History of Finland’ is a unique journey through time, giving a voice to great figures of Finnish music – from Bernhard Henrik Crusell to Toivo Kuula, Helvi Leiviskä and Kaija Saariaho – not forgetting Jean Sibelius. Expect an entertaining and inspiring journey through the highlights of Finnish music spanning up to 250 years, as well as the promise of new experiences for both seasoned concertgoers and newer fans of classical music. The spotlight will shine not only on famous composers but also on lesser-known gems from Finland and beyond.
