This traditional May Day matinee enlivens the holiday with lighter pieces perfectly suited to the season. You can look forward to nothing but great works from the lighter side of classical music: bubbly overtures, lively waltzes, the March of the Pori Regiment and the Champagne Galop, as well as new discoveries and surprises. The vocal soloist is the enchanting soprano Marika Hölttä, a regular star of opera and musicals. May Day starts here!
